Advanced flow diverter with unique BlueXide® Surface Finishing for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.The flow diversion technique with the use of embolisation devices placed in the parent artery is a new approach to treat intracranial aneurysms – especially fusiform and large ones with a wide neck. These devices have a relative high vessel wall coverage and the ability to change haemodynamic forces and vectors in the segment bearing the aneurysm.

The device allows the treatment of various anatomies with vessels diameters from 2.5 mm to 6.0 mm diameter. The broad range of sizes comprises of diameters from 3.5 mm to 6.0 mm and lengths from 15 mm to 50 mm and thus offers optimal device selection for best flow diversion properties. Long lesions can now be treated by a single DERIVO® instead of using several devices in a telescoping technique.
